Business leader Rickey Gelb
Long-time Valley business leader Rickey Gelb has joined the LAVC Foundation Board of Directors. A former student of Los Angeles Valley College, Rickey has successfully created “A Family of Companies” that include real estate development and property management, a Taco Bell franchise, a bowling center, and a Best Western Hotel franchise, all located here in the San Fernando Valley. He, along with his wife Robbi (who also attended LAVC), have given thousands of dollars to LAVC students through the Rickey Gelb Scholarship for U.S. Veterans, the Rickey Gelb Scholarship in Entrepreneurships, and support for students throughout the San Fernando Valley with the Rickey & Robbi Gelb Charitable Foundation Scholarships.
Gelb believes that joining the Board of Directors is a meaningful way to give back to the school that played such a pivotal role in shaping his life.
