MISSION

The LAVC Foundation is committed to making higher education attainable for all in the communities served by the campus by providing scholarships and resources for programs directly benefiting students of our college. The Foundation’s vision is to support LAVC’s mission of student success, lifelong learning, and enriching the lives of its diverse community.

HISTORY

In 1971, The Patrons Association was established as a non-profit foundation to benefit Los Angeles Valley College, its programs and students. Later renamed The LAVC Foundation, we remain committed to advancing the teaching and learning objectives of Valley College, and most of all, providing its students an environment that fosters a healthy exchange of ideas.
