Tickets are now on sale for LAVC’s 11th Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, returning to Valley College on June 28. For just $75, enjoy a delicious dinner crafted by Big Screen Cuisine (a renowned catering company) and an unforgettable evening honoring the exceptional athletes and dedicated staff who have excelled at the college.
Held in Monarch Hall, the gala event marks the eleventh time this prestigious ceremony has been held. Previous inductees include luminaries such as L. A. Rams coach and Superbowl participant Eric Yarber, 1968 Olympic swimming and diving gold medalist Sue Gossick, UCLA All-American Jack Hirsch, and Olympic volleyball player Linda Murphy. This year’s inductees include:
- Ralph Caldwell (basketball coach and athletic director, 1956-1967)
- Brick Durley (athletic administrator, 1988-2008)
- Jason Falitz (All-American water polo player from 2005-2006 and current UCLA coach)
- Bill Hayhoe (five-year player with the Green Bay Packers, 1964)
- Rebecca Islas (two-time all conference basketball player, 2016-2018)
- 2018 Men’s Water Polo Team (state runner-up)
- Maria “Angelica” Arcila (women’s equipment manager unrivaled in her dedication to athletics)
