Almost 50 young athletes from the local community attended the Monarch QB/Wide Receivers Skills Camp, learning various skills needed to excel on the gridiron. The players, aged 10-14, broke into groups, suited for their age and position.
Quarterback instruction included drop-back methods and throwing technique, while receivers worked on speed and pattern running. After the practice, the players were treated to a barbecue lunch.
The camp was taught by coaches and players from the college’s football team.
